Partner for Sure
During the global conference „World Summit on Sustainable Development 2002” in Johannesburg, SA, I spoke with many exhibitors and decided to put this valuable exchange of knowledge to good use. This resulted in the platform “International Platform of Public Private Partnership Models for a Sustainable Development in Urban areas and Regions“ short: “Partner for SURE.”
The first projects were started immediately following the conference in Cape Town and in Xian, China. The focus of the projects centered on cooperation with UNEP and the “Global Compact” in China.
During these projects I made many connections to Chinese politicians, most important among them being the present lead of government Minister President Li Keqiang.
The global networking via this platform and its partners enables easier access to information and markets in their countries.
